Viscose is a fabric produced artificially from natural wood fibers. In might resemble cotton but is slightly softer and more delicate. Lace adorned lingerie and other clothes are not recommended to machine wash as this can cause damage. Such items should be washed by hand in warm water with liquid detergent. Lace is recommended to soak in cold water 20-30 minutes before washing. Wash gently and do not wring the delicate lace. Pat dry with a towel or soft cloth. Then place the item on a flat surface wrapped in clean, preferably white fabric and shape it with hands. Allow to dry at room temperature and then iron through a dry and thick cloth, using a low temperature steam.
